Elena-Sophie Catharina Carrière was born in September, 24th 1996 in Hamburg, Germany.
She spent the first five years of her life in the hanseatic city before moving to Venice, Italy where she got to spend her whole childhood.
After the 10 year intermezzo in the water bound city, she moved back to her home town in 2015.
Since getting second placed in the German TV show „Germanys Next Topmodel“ by Heidi Klum she is an internationally booked model and a successful content creator. She has worked with renowned photographers like Ellen von Unwerth, Rankin, Ben Watts, Max Montgomery or Christian Schuller.
She has collaborated and been the face for well-known brands such as Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, L’Oréal Paris, Otto, Biotherm, Zadig & Voltaire, Tommy Hilfiger, Guerlain, Levis, Dior, Pandora, Philips Beauty, John Frieda, Caudalie, Yves Rocher, Colgate, Syoss, OnePiece and Puma amongst many others.
Elena was also one of the first Influencers back in the days, who decided to get involved in a more sustainable way of living and promoting such products. She started working with vegan, sustainable, cruelty free brands very early on, when it was still not seen as “cool” or “sexy” to live sustainably.
She became plant based in 2018, taught herself how to cook, studied traditional Chinese medicine and is now an official holistic health coach; she published her first cookbook (“Plant Based”) in 2021, with healthy yet comforting recipes and a whole lot of inspiration and knowledge about TCM traditions.
Besides her modeling career, Elena works as an actress and a TV host, having shot with international directors like Detlev Buck, as well as renowned actors like Tom Beck, Frederik Lau and Uwe Ochsenknecht.
Elena is supporting the women’s rights organization „Terre des Femmes“ as an ambassador.
Elena is the youngest daughter of the actor and author Mathieu Carrière and fluently speaks German, Italian, English and Spanish.
